Create depth

When you select an angle for your shot, make sure that it has a sense of depth. Keep all the elements in the image in focus. Use a small aperture, f/16-f/22 as it can keep all the objects in focus and sharp. The background and foreground can remain in focus to provide a clear view of each corner. Use a tripod to place your camera in front of a good view while you use a small aperture.

Use a wide-angle lens

A landscape picture will only look better when there is more to see in the picture. A wide-angle lens can show a broader view of the picture and give a sense of wide-open space. It can also provide a greater depth of field, and with faster shutter speed, it can allow more light. When you click a picture with f/16, it will make both foregrounds and background sharp.

Use photographic filters

The polarizing filters can darken the sky and can highlight the blue of the sky in contrast with white clouds. The Neutral Density(ND) can help in controlling the light from entering the camera. During the bright days when the camera cannot provide slow shutter speed, you can use ND to keep the image sharp and clear.

Use water as a mirror

Still, water can create beautiful effects with reflections. The best times for this kind of shots will be the sunset and sunrise. Use a tripod to settle the camera and choose either mode TV or Shutter-priority mode. Choose a slow shutter speed. Allow the camera to automatically choose the aperture. Push the ISO up if you cannot get a sharp image, but ISO 125 is a good place to start.

Capture movement

You can create stunning images with moving water. With a long exposure, you can make the water look magical and milky with either TV or Shutter-priority mode and a 2 seconds exposure. You can also use the Aperture-priority (AV) mode for a smaller aperture like f-32. You can use the ND filter while working in a bright area. Use a tripod for this type of shots, so that the rest of the objects in your image remain sharp.

People or animals in the picture can play a major role in adding more life to the restaurant. A beautiful landscape can be complemented with a person.
